Abstract
The entry of natural light into industrial buildings is an important and significant issue. In this regard, this research seeks to answer the following questions: "Can architectural classification be carried out for industrial units?" and "To what extent does the placement of skylights and openings in the types of industrial units affect the intensity of lighting and the required light uniformity rate?" and "What are the optimal types in terms of the intensity of daylight illumination?".

The above research, considering the existing scientific gaps, examines the types of industrial units in Bisotun Industrial Park, Kermanshah as a study sample. After identifying the types and normalizing them, in order to further examine and generalize them, the field measurement method using a light meter (lux meter) and computer simulation using Relux software have been used in line with the research objectives. The research results show that; The types of common industrial units used in the Bisotun Industrial Park of Kermanshah differ from each other in terms of the intensity of received light. Among the twenty-two types studied, the average light intensity in Type 3 (Type 16) with a main opening and two sheds with a central skylight is the highest. The type of opening size selected for the structure of types with ceiling and wall skylights provides a higher light intensity and at the same time the light uniformity rate is higher in these types.
